Yep! Trunk or Treat
Local Youth Fundraiser
Billings families are invited to participate in a fun and family friendly
Halloween event on Oct 31, 2018 starting at 5 pm and ending at 7 pm. Families
will be able to come for trick or treating and also to go through a haunted house.
All proceeds go to benefit the Youth Empowerment Program (YEP!), a local non-
profit helping many community families by providing funds for extracurricular
activities for families who do not have the financial resources to do so. Also, they
are empowering and inspiring youth as they speak about suicide prevention and
awareness and bully and social media awareness.
April Sanchez, the Director of YEP!, shares some exciting surprises for the
evening and shared some really cool parts of what they are already setting up.
Some of the fun freaky themes are: mad scientist lab, crime scene, creepy pumpkin
hallway, praying mantis fortress, haunted office, glow in the dark insect forest,
spiderweb lounge, robots plant, cemetery, and haunted library. So much awesome spooky fun! This is something you will want to
see in person and, of course, it’s to help more youth in our community too!
The event will held at 1145 Grand Ave Billings. Mark your calendars now to
attend this community event. The cost to attend is on a donation basis.
“Monetary Donation of any size,” Sanchez, says.
The gratitude that April and Serena Anderson, President of YEP!, share is
“We are so grateful for all the sponsors and all those who are helping to
make this a success.” Anderson explains.
“It takes a village to raise a kid and we need your help,” says Anderson.
Sanchez and Anderson invite any business-owners or concerned community
members to support YEP! in fueling our suicide prevention and awareness
program. There is an epidemic and we want to help empower and inspire our youth
and teach them self-love tools and techniques in hopes of preventing youth taking
their life to the end.

All donations are tax deductible as YEP! is a 501C3. For more information contact
